David Price assesses Rahman V Povetkin

Liverpool behemoth David Price makes his big debut on Saturday 13th October at the Liverpool Olympia when he takes on British rival Audley Harrison in a Battle of the Olympians.

Heavy-handed Price, a Bronze medallist at the Beijing Olympics in 2008, is unbeaten in 13 fights with 11 going early - 9 of them inside three rounds - puts his British and Commonwealth titles on the line against the 2000 Olympic Champion.

Povetkin vs Rahman pulled from ‘Licensed To Thrill’

Alexander Povetkin's WBA world heavyweight title defence against Hasim Rahman has been withdrawn from David Haye and Dereck Chisora’s 'Licensed To Thrill' show at Upton Park on July 14.

WBA and WBO titles added to Haye vs Chisora

It was confirmed today that David Haye and Dereck Chisora will battle it out for the WBA intercontinental and WBO international titles when they lock horns later this summer.

Fury stops Rogan for Irish title

Former British and Commonwealth champion Tyson Fury added the Irish title to his belt haul last night when he stopped Belfast veteran Martin Rogan in the fifth round at the Odyssey Arena.

Fury, who boxed with a safety-first attitude, dropped Rogan twice using a southpaw stance and deconstructed the veteran with right jabs and left hooks en route to a fifth round technical knockout.

Having laughed off claims by Fury that he could ‘take Povetkin out’, the Russian’s promoter Kalle Sauerland revealed that they had made an offer to Fury to fight in December, which was turned down.
