Here’s Amir Khan’s nomination video from last night’s BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards.  Shortlisted alongside the likes of winner Mark Cavendish, runners up Darren Clarke and Mo Farah, and a host of other sport stars, Khan was commended for a year that saw him unify and then lose his light-welterweight titles. Oscar De La Hoya calls him a future pound-for-pound champ and the Bolton man promises a big year in 2012.
