Vazquez - I’ll be ruthless like Javier Hernandez

Mexican hitman Miguel Vazquez says he’ll be as deadly as fellow countryman and Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez when he faces WBO World Lightweight Champion Ricky Burns at Wembley Arena.

Vazquez, the IBF World Champion, puts his title on the line against Burns’ belt in a big unification clash on Saturday 16th March that also features stars Nathan Cleverly, George Groves, Dereck Chisora* and Liam Walsh.

 Chisora to present £20,000 cheque to ACLT

Following his side-bet with Dave Haye prior to their heavyweight title fight at West Ham United, Dereck Chisora will now present Haye's charity of choice, The African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust, with a cheque for £20,000.

The donation will go towards supporting the ACLT's lifesaving work through spreading awareness and increasing the number of ethnic minorities on the UK bone marrow, blood and organ donation registries through national recruitment drives.

Chisora - 'I feel like John Wayne, my medication is wearing off!'

After today's press conference David Haye and Dereck Chisora had a chat with Boxnation, separately of course. Haye displayed all of his usual pre-fight confidence and seemed the epitome of focus and calm. Chisora however had an air of weird unpredictability. As he said himself, 'I think my medication is wearing off'.

Haye must have noticed too as he commented that Dereck ‘looks jittery and he’s stuttering a lot’
