McIntosh ready to take Bellew’s title after Everton FA Cup hell

Danny McIntosh says he plans to rip Tony Bellew’s British light-heavyweight title away from him live on Sky Sports on Friday night, April 27, and add to the Everton mans FA Cup anguish.

Bellew defends the belt on home turf at the Liverpool Echo Arena against his challenger from Norwich and the duo’s football allegiances have come to the fore ahead of the clash.

Tony Bellew has promised Merseyside he will kick-off next week’s huge sporting weekend with victory against Danny McIntosh in ‘The Big Bang’ on Friday April 13 live on Sky Sports 1/HD1 from the Echo Arena, Liverpool.

The Everton-mad British light-heavyweight titleholder defends his title against the former European champ, and will head down to Wembley the following day to watch his beloved Toffees take on city rivals Liverpool in the FA Cup semi-final at lunchtime.

Bellew vs McIntosh moved to April 13

Promoters David Coldwell and Eddie Hearn have announced that ‘The Big Bang’ boxing show headlined by Tony Bellew vs Danny McIntosh will be moved from its original date of Saturday, April 14 to one day prior on Friday, April 13.

The British light-heavyweight title contest has been moved to avoid a clash with the potential all-Merseyside FA Cup semi-final and will still take place at Liverpool’s Echo Arena with the doors now opening at 6.30pm.
