Khan vs Bradley for July 23 in Vegas

The eagerly anticipated light-welterweight clash between WBA champ Amir Khan and WBC and WBO title holder Tim Bradley is expected to take place on July 23 in Las Vegas.

According to boxing website Boxingscene.com a deal in principal has already been reached between Bradley’s promoter Gary Shaw and Khan’s promoter Golden Boy with regards to the contest.

Premium Sky channel Premier Sports TV has signed a long-term output deal with Gary Shaw Productions for the company’s ShoBox: The Next Generation.

The show which boasts bouts from the best up and coming fighters in America will now be available on Sky channel 433 starting with unbeaten Cruiserweight Lateef Kayode fighting Nicholas Iannuzzi on Saturday, February 5.

Light-welterweight champions Devon Alexander and Tim Bradley looked in great shape at the weigh-in for their unification fight tonight at Pontiac Sliverdome in Detroit.

WBC champion Alexander came in right on the button at 140lbs and WBO man Timothy Bradley was a ripped 139½lbs.

Devon Alexander and Timothy Bradley had their final press conference yesterday for their light-welterweight super fight at the Pontiac Silverdome on Saturday night.

Both fighters kept it brief with Alexander stating, ‘I’m at 120 per cent, this is what I’ve been waiting for since I was seven years old.’ And Bradley simply coming back with, ‘I’m ready to fight.’
