George Groves wants winner of Abraham-Stieglitz

British super-middleweight star George Groves has targeted the winner of WBO World Champion Arthur Abraham and Robert Stieglitz’s clash next month.

The unbeaten Hammersmith southpaw first challenges Mouhamed Ali Ndiaye for the Vacant European title on Saturday 16th March at Wembley Arena, with Abraham and Stieglitz meeting a week later in Germany.

Groves: Cleverly can be a smash in the US

George Groves has backed Nathan Cleverly to be a hit in America this weekend.

The Commonwealth Super-Middleweight Champion impressed US fight fans in July this year when he stopped tough Mexican Francisco Sierra in San Jose, California, in a bloody battle.

Commonwealth Super-Middleweight Champion George Groves will defend his title against  one of the toughest men in boxing on Saturday 15th December at London’s ExCeL when he faces former IBF World Light-Heavyweight Champion Glen Johnson.

Groves’ promoter Frank Warren confirmed today that Groves and the Jamaican born Miami based hardman Johnson will feature as chief support on the multi-title card headlined by WBO World Lightweight Champion Ricky Burns, live on BoxNation.
