Ringside Round-Up: End of the road for Katsidis

Michael Katsidis is facing tough questions about his career after losing to unranked light-welterweight Albert Mensah over ten hard fought rounds in Las Vegas on Friday night.

Katsidis, who ditched his long time trainer Brendon Smith and set up camp in the States ahead of the fight, was out-worked and out-boxed in a majority decision loss.

Eubank Jr: ‘I’m going to be explosive’

Chris Eubank Jr has promised double trouble for his opponent Paul Allison tonight on the undercard of Tyson Fury and Martin Rogan’s Irish heavyweight title clash in Belfast - because this time he will be using both fists.

Eubank Jr won a points victory in his second pro fight against former cage fighter Jason Ball in February despite suffering a hand injury while sparring and only being able to jab with his left fist.
