Malignaggi claims WBA welterweight strap

Paul Malignaggi became a two-weight world champion on Sunday evening stopping previously unbeaten Vyacheslav Senchenko in the ninth round to capture the WBA welterweight strap.

Fighting at the Donbass Arena in Senchenko's hometown of Donetsk, Ukraine, Brooklyn native Malignaggi took away the home crowd advantage almost immediately with a punishing attack from start to finish.
