Mongolian Warrior Choi gets second crack at Prizefighter

The Mongolian Warrior Choi Tseveenpurev hopes it will be second time lucky when he takes part in Prizefighter for the second time as the Featherweights hit York Hall on October 29, live on Sky Sports.

Choi, who lost a thrilling semi-final to Derry Mathews in the Super-Featherweights night last November, will be in great shape for the 22nd edition of the tournament after recording a knockout in the second round of his last outing on Friday night.

Now for some awesome shots from last weekend’s instalment of Prizefighter, which was a barnstorming night by all accounts. Welshman Gary Buckland came out on top and walked away with a cheque for £32,000 but all were winners in a night promoter Barry Hearn described as ‘British boxing at its best’.
