Groves: ‘DeGale is celeb wannabe’
Commonwealth super-middleweight champion George Groves has ripped into rival British strap-holder James DeGale ahead of their eagerly anticipated meeting next month.
In a candid interview with Boxingscene.com Groves dismissed DeGale’s trash-talk as harmless as well as labelling the Olympic gold medallist a ‘fake celebrity’.

Ringside spent some time with challenger Paul McCloskey as he prepares for his title fight with Amir Khan next month. Having set up camp in Belfast, Dudey is under the tutelage of veteran trainer John Breen and has enlisted the help of a strength and conditioning coach for the first time in his career. Although he is keeping it real as his own nutritionist.
