Calzaghe: ‘Froch is great to watch’

Former undisputed super-middleweight king Joe Calzaghe has heaped praise on current WBC champ Carl Froch.

Calzaghe, who was called out by Froch a number of times in the later part of his career, told TalkSport magazine that he was impressed by the Nottingham man and called for better coverage of his fights.

Groves: ‘DeGale still can’t sleep at night’

With the war of words well under way for their highly anticipated meeting on May 21, George Groves believes his amateur win over James DeGale still haunts the British champ.

The pair come from the same gym but have never been pals and Groves, who beat Olympic champ DeGale in their only meeting as amateurs, told the News of the World that the loss still troubles DeGale to today.

British super-middleweight champion James DeGale has declared that there is no way he can lose his grudge match with Commonwealth strap holder George Groves in May.

DeGale, who was out-pointed by Groves in their amateur days, has been chopping trees in Essex as he starts his hardest training camp to date for the mandatory defence.
