WBO light-heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly has turned his attentions to WBA titleholder Beibut Shumenov after Bernard Hopkins failed to defend his WBC title against Chad Dawson on the weekend.

Kid Galahad became the new the WBC international super-bantamweight champion with an impressive unanimous points victory over the experienced Jason Booth in Rotherham on Saturday night.

Galahad who suffered a flash knockdown in the first round outclassed Booth from start to finish with multi-punch combinations and effective footwork to take him in and out of range at a canter and win it 120-109, 118-111 & 118-110 on the scorecards.
