Rescheduled from the December 10 this fight sees Golovkin, a fighter coming off the back of five knock out wins, face up to Philadelphia’s Lajuan Simon. Golovkin is yet to be defeated, winning an impressive 18 of his 21 wins by knock out and defends the regular version of the WBA title he’s held since 2010 when Felix Sturm was upgraded to super champion.

Khan, who considers himself a British-Pakistani Muslim, has actively spoken out against discrimination and worked towards integrating the Muslim community into British society.
