Timothy Bradley impressed fans and the media alike with his physical conditioning when he opened the doors to his Palm Springs gym for a media workout ahead of his June 9 showdown with Manny Pacquiao.
The light-welterweight ruler was put through his paces by coach Joel Diaz in front of a packed house at the Indio Boys and Girls Club in the Californian desert as fans and media were bussed in from Los Angeles and Las Vegas by promoters Top Rank.
‘It’s going to be a focused, determined, hungry storm on June 9, so stay tuned,’ said Bradley, nicknamed the ‘Desert Storm’. ‘It’s going to be a fight to remember.
‘Manny is going to bring it and I’m going to bring it too. When you got two guys who are going to bring it and put it all on the line, because he has this big fight looming, and I have my family and this is my career moment right here to be a superstar in this game.
‘I’m not going to take no for an answer and neither is he. You have a big wreck coming on June 9. I’m fit and ready to go, I’ve got great defence, great reflexes, and I know how to survive in the ring so I’m ready for whatever he brings.’
