Bradley: ‘I’ll come to the UK for Khan’
WBO light-welterweight champion Timothy Bradley has revealed he is willing to come to the UK to fight WBA champ Amir Khan.
Bradley, who takes on WBC titleholder Devon Alexander on January 29 in a shoot-out to meet Khan in the definitive fight of the division, told Main Event boxing radio that a cross-Atlantic trip wouldn’t faze him.
‘Once I get through Devon, then I will think about Khan, but I think he may have other fighters in mind for his next fight.
‘I don’t mind traveling to the UK, I have done it before against Junior Witter and I am used to it,’ said Bradley.
The California native wrested the WBC belt from Junior Witter in Nottingham Arena in 2008, and went on to add the WBO title to his resume before a failure to fight current champ Devon Alexander saw him stripped of the WBC version.
