In the run-up to Prizefighter Super Featherweights on November 20th, Choi Tseveenpurev 'The Mongolian Warrior' has set about his opponents with a ferocious attack. Not a physical attack, but an assault on their eardrums.
Just as Manny Pacquiao destroyed the song 'Imagine' on the Jimmy Kimmell show, fans favourite Choi has murdered a medley of songs in a YouTube video pouring scorn on his rivals chances at the York Hall event later this month.
For Derry Mathews Choi sings 'Oh Derry boy, I hurt you so bad last time' reminding Mathews of the fifth round knockout that saw Choi take his WBU title in 2008.
Other possible Christmas number ones include 'Stevie Bell welcome to hell' and 'Cheer up Gary Sykes.'
A confident Choi reveals, 'I'm very happy to be in Prizefighter and I know I'll win. I've been waiting a long time for this and I'm fully focused on winning at York Hall.'
Joining Choi, Sykes, Bell and Matthews in the 15th edition of Barry Hearn’s eight-man, one night tournaments are European Lightweight title challenger Gary Buckland, Prizefighter Lightweights semi-finalist Gary McArthur, British and European challenger Scott Lawton and Brighton fighter Ben Murphy.
